Saying goodbye to the number 10 without showing his face. For Alto Palermo we made a tribute to the national team captain that is understood without naming him: the shirt from behind, the boots, a ball that says hasta siempre and an ending that comes back to the shopping center.

The challenge
Alto Palermo wanted to say goodbye to the national team captain. A shopping center can't use a player's face as if it were its campaign, so the tribute had to be recognizable without showing him. And it had to go out fast, while the farewell was news.
The idea
Tell the player through what surrounds him: the boots, the shirt from behind, the hand on a ball that says Hasta siempre (Forever). The shopping center dresses in sky blue and white, the facade says Gracias capitán (Thank you, captain) and the ending plays on the name of the place: Gracias por llevarnos tan alto (Thank you for taking us so high).
The production
Concept, AI video production and post-production in a 26-second vertical piece for Instagram stories. Every shot was chosen so his face never appears: the framing does the work a close-up would do in another piece.
The result
A tribute recognized in seconds that respects a shopping center's brand limits. It is a way of joining a football moment without relying on an image that doesn't belong to the shopping center.
