The challenge
DOT was showing the matches in its food court and needed to keep the conversation going before and after each match. The football calendar didn't allow everything to be planned weeks ahead: part of the content depended on the result and on the plays that had just happened.
The idea
We created a sports show starring Playmobil figures. Before the matches, the characters introduced the opponent and relevant data. Afterwards, they went back to the studio to analyze the result and recreate the best plays within the same visual world.
The production
FeedGuru designed a production system built for very short cycles. The series included 15 pieces and combined sports research, script, AI, character consistency, recreation of plays, motion graphics, editing and sound. For the post-match pieces, work started when the match ended and the content was ready a few hours later.
The result
DOT had its own coverage throughout the World Cup and was able to join the conversation while it was still active. With AI, the recaps went out a few hours after each match without losing character consistency.
